A charming and cozy home nestled in the native Karekare bush. In summer bask in all day sunshine or light a cozy fire in the winter. Unwind whilst relaxing in the undercover spa. Large lawn to have a picnic or play. Relax in the many comfortable spaces this home has to offer, with multiple couches and a beautiful bay window. House comprises of a large open plan living area with stunning views from all angles. The Master bedroom is on the top mezzanine floor with a breath-taking view of the forest, ocean, sunset and stars from your bed. The extra 2 bedrooms are connected side my side, separate to the main house a few steps away. Home has a fully equipped large kitchen complete with oven, kettle, toaster, blender, dishwasher and lots of bench space. Also, there is an outdoor BBQ you can cook on, outdoor couches and tables to dine in nature. There is one bathroom downstairs with shower, basin, toilet and washing machine. And a toilet connected to the master bedroom.
We are a short10min drive to the famous Karekare Beach and Waterfall. A quiet and wild west coast beach that will not disappoint. 20mins drive away is one of NZ's most famous surf beaches, Piha. This beach is full of surprises with many walks, caves and locations to swim and surf. Piha also has a beautiful waterfall and some great places to eat.
We also run a Local Cultural tour with an indigenous Maori Chief and ancestor of the local tribe of
Te Kawerau A Maki. We can show you all the best spots that most tourists never get to experience along with some history of these lands.
Can also provide catering on request.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You have the whole house to yourself, and it is completely private. We do still live on the property occupying a room at the back of the house, it is not connected and do not use any of the house. We have our own kitchen out the back of the house and use the backyard which you have NO access to, you may hear us making food, but we try keep as quiet as possible. We use the driveway for parking and the driveway is also shared with the Neighbour's but this shouldn't bother you either its very large and you will have a designated parking spot for MAX 3 cars.
